Maintenance Prioritisation (VFM) 1 - Introduction

Prioritisation (VFM) offers three tiers:

Tier 1 - Structure Level Analysis

All structures are analysed for Likelihood relating to BCI, substandard capacity, flooding and scour risk, 'At risk' supports and parapets. Consequence relating to Safety, Functionality and Environment.

Tier 2 - Element Level Analysis

Element level risks are evaluated based on element condition to identify structures/elements with the highest risk and most need of maintenance.

Tier 3 - Scheme Option Analysis and Optimisation

Allows you to undertake 'What-if' analysis to define budget constraints and to evaluate the risk mitigation and cost benefits in order to identify the most optimum schemes.
