BridgeStation Mobile Inspections - Mobile Device Management

User Administrators will also be able to manage the devices that have access to BridgeStation Mobile for your organisation.

Click on your Username top-right and select Mobile Device Management.

From here you will be able to review the user's devices connected to BridgeStation. You will review registration details and date of last access.

You will also be able to Deactivate Devices when the user no longer requires mobile access.

To deactivate, click the Deactivate link next to the user/device you would like to remove access for:

You can download and install the BridgeStation Mobile Inspections app on Android devices with operating system 5.0 and newer. For a full set of minimum system requirements, see here: BridgeStation Mobile Inspections - Minimum System Requirements

Locate the Google Play app on your device, tap the Google Play Icon

Tap on the Search bar at the top and search "bridgestation". Tap on the BridgeStation Mobile Inspections search result.

DOWNLOAD THE BRIDGESTATION MOBILE INSPECTIONS APP FOR ANDROID

Tap on the INSTALL button

Once downloaded and installed, click OPEN to begin registering your app.

First, follow the instructions on Downloading and Installing the app:

The application will appear in your app drawer or home screen as BridgeStation Mobile

If it's your first time using the app and the device has not been registered yet, then you'll need to provide your Email Address and Access Code.

Access Codes and user Email Addresses are matched. It is not possible to transfer codes between users.

Complete your Email Address and Access Code and tap REGISTER. If you don't have an Access Code, please contact your System Administrator or the BridgeStation Support Department.

If successful you'll receive a success message. Tap OK.

Next, Complete your Email and Password to login. This is the same as your usual BridgeStation Email and Password.

Tap LOGIN to access your Inspection Programme.

The BridgeStation Mobile Inspections App is available for all existing BridgeStation subscribers on Android and iOS.

The BridgeStation Mobile Inspections App is an onsite data collection tool for the users of BridgeStation (Advanced Bridge Management System). It is designed to enable inspectors to collect and record element level structure inspection data using phones and tablets.

The app helps to improve efficiency and data quality by reducing the time spent in the field, and providing a number of inspection friendly features.

Key features:

- Offline mode - complete an inspection without a data connection

- View on Map - confirm the structure location, and use the device mapping app for navigation

- Previous inspection data - condition and photographs included for review
- Defect Code Picker - faster identification of codes and descriptions
- Use the device camera - quickly take defect photos and attach them to individual defects
- Upload inspection data to BridgeStation for final review and submission

Access Codes and Registration

To use the app inspectors must be issued an Access Code for each device they wish to use BridgeStation Mobile with. Contact your system administrator for more details on issuing Access Codes.
